Deck & Shingle Wash This product uses sodium percarbonate as its active cleaning agent. Sodium percarbonate is a safe alternative to toxic/hazardous deck cleaners that include bleach or TSP. This product is so effective that use of a pressure washer is not necessary. Just spreay down your deck, wood shingles or any wood surface then work the product into the wood with a deck brush and simply hose off. This product kills and removes mold, mildew, dirt and grime leaving a clean wood surface that is ready to be stained or sealed. Deck & Shingle Wash also includes a natural wood brightener, which helps restore old, weathered wood to its original color.

Cleaning notes: Pressure washing, without prior treatments of the wooden surface to kill the mold and mildew sores will do more harm than good. Pressure washing with straight water imbeds mold spores deep into the wood and will resurface right through the stain or water sealer. Pressure washing with streight water also blows and spreads the mold spore all over the surace and to other areas of your home. To achieve maximum results when refinishing a deck or cleaning a wood surface it is absolutely necessary to rid the surface of the mold and mildew spores before sealing or staining.
