The backpack sprayer holds 4 gallons of liquid and can be easily pumped and pressurized as it is on your back by using the "lever pumping arm" on the side.

The Backpack sprayer comes with 5 different fanned tips depending on what application you are using it for. Spray a straight stream up to 20 feet for applying chemicals, fertilizer and pesticides or use a perfectly fanned tip to apply water seal or stain to decks, roofs or siding.

The backpack sprayer empty only weighs 10 lbs and is contoured to fit comfortably on your back. cushioned shoulder straps help relieve pressure from the weight of the liquid.

This sprayer is much easier and safer to use on a ladder or on a roof than a typical pump sprayer because your hands are free and you can hold on. It will also not drop accidentally like the garden style pump sprayers do especially with wet, slippery hands.

For the money, this is an exceptionally well designed and functional sprayer. it's easy to clean and does not clog easily.

Overall

I purchase this to spray the cedar cleaner on my siding and I used it again to apply the cedar sealer. I'm not a painter but I was able to clean and seal my house, this back pack sprayer and a pressure washer was all I used. This thing is worth every penny. (Posted on 4/22/11)
