Deck Seal: a Clear "Transparent" Premium Grade Exterior Waterborne Stain That Seals and Protects Decks Against Weather and Sun Damage.
Available in 1 gallon and 5 gallon containers.
To maintain a beautiful looking deck the deck must be kept water tight, if water enters the decking it can and will mold and then the green and black mold starts to appear. when the mold visually appears the deck get's slippery and dangerous in the rain and at that point the deck is not looking it's best. the key is finding a deck sealer that is easy to use and provides the correct protection.
"Easy of use" is important because if the task of sealing a deck is a difficult one, people tend to put it off. Our Deck Seal was designed with this in mind. It's so easy to apply that anybody can do it, painting skills are not necessary. The deck sealer can be put in a pump sprayer and simply sprayed on the decking. Being a water based formula clean up is very easy just soap and hot water.
After Deck Seal is applied it dries clear (transparent) so that you can see the beautiful wood decking . Deck Seal does have a slight tint that actually enhances the look of the decking. The tint provide UV protection from the suns damaging rays. It's the suns rays that "gray" the wood.
Deck Seal coats the wood not allowing water to enter the wood but enabling the wood to breath, which is very important. Wood needs to breath because in some situations moisture gets under the wood decking where there was no deck sealer applied but being able to breath allows the wood to dry quickly. The key is not letting the water enter the wood from the front side, if water can't enter the wood then mold can't grow.
Deck Seal has mold inhibitors in the stain that will prevent mold growth.
Deck Seal provides the 3 biggest factors that a good exterior stain should provide.
- Provides UV Protection
- Repels Water
- Resists mold growth
Deck Seal is an environmentally friendly solution:
- It has no Odor
- It has low VOC's
- it is water based
Another benefit of using Deck Seal is when it comes time for another coat of stain, there is no sanding, no scraping. If you didn't let it go to long without another coat you can just spray it right over the last coat but if it did go a little to long just quickly clean the deck and spray the deck sealer on again.

Note: This product will not be sold at our retail outlets, we are only able to sell this product online, it is very expensive to produce, if we shipped it out to the retail stores the consumer would pay about $60 per gallon. I'm sure that you have all tried the mass marketed deck and wood sealers like "Thompsons ™" and most of you have had a bad experience or the seal just did not last. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for", it's not that Thompsons™ is a bad product, it's just not that strong, in fact it's very weak. You need at least 2 coats of that wood sealer and you need to re-coat every year. These wood sealers that we are producing are made from the best possible ingredients and at maximum strength. Every manufacture has the option to go full strength or "water down" their products to produce a product that they can sell cheaper or to increase profits. Since day one we have chosen to provide our customers with the highest quality products available. We don't have the luxury of a million dollar TV ad campaign, we survive off of "word of mouth" advertising so only the best for our customers.
| Coverage | Each gallon will cover approximately 250sq ft. We always suggest for best results, to apply two medium coats.
In order to determine the amount of sealer you will need, follow this simple formula: Take the square foot of your desired area and divide by 150. This will give you the number of gallons it would take to optimally clean that surface. Example: 3,000 square feet / 150 = 20 gallons |

Deck Seal will provide 3 years of protection, at some point during the 3rd year we recommend applying another coat of Deck Seal, if you keep that schedule cleaning between coats will not be necessary. |

Easy to use, dries quickly. Review by Kurt Silverstein
Overall We bought this for our dock, we needed a true "waterbase" sealer, we didn't want oil drips going in the water. It was easy to use, it goes on thick so that it doesn't drip much but dries to the touch quickly. I even walked on it when it was wet and it did not leave foot prints. Our dock is pressure treated, it looks just perfect, I highly recommend it. (Posted on 4/25/11)

Really nice on my mahogany wood deck. Review by Dick Lancaster
Overall I used the Deck Seal on a mahogany deck if you want to enjoy the look of the mahogany wood without bright tints and highlighted colors I suggest using this, this was just what I was looking for. You can feel the product in the wood, this isn't some watered dowm Thompsons sealer, this really is nice stuff. (Posted on 4/21/11)
